How to change site name and description

  • Hi everyone,

    I installed my WP using Fantastico, during the process i added the site name and the site description, i would now like to edit these entrys to somthing different, how may i do so? i did look in config.php thinking the options might be in there but they were not..:(

    the strange thing is, when i click my address bar dropdown and see the list of websites i have visited, and i see for example:

    YouTube – Broadcast Yourself
    https://www.youtube.com

    mine says says completely different text from that of whats input on the dashboard > settings panel.

    Instead it displays the text from an old install which i deleted..

    Any ideas?

    I would clear your internet cache, see if that clears it up.
