how to change registration?

  • Can I and what do I need to change in the wp_register.php to remove the emailing of the password and allow the user to set their own password.

  • It will be a pretty substantial change. You’ll need to add an additional HTML form field for the password (preferably two fields, forcing the user to repeat the password, which you then compare after the POST).

    It’s a non-trivial task. Is this something you absolutely need?
