    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. We are not entirely sure what the issue is. We viewed the page source and the title as outputted by the plugin is:

    <title>Появились фото с &quot;Рок-сессии по заявкам&quot; | Николаевский рок-клуб</title>

Can you explain what you will like to change?

I want the quotes in seo-titles to be in ??? form. So title must be: Bla bla and blaba named ??Bla?

We are not sure if WordPress converts double quotes (“”) to guillemets (???) by default. For instance, we used your same text as the title in a test site and the guillemets come out as expected. See image.

We recommend adding it directly in the SEO title in the plugin instead of leaving the conversion to WordPress.

    Thank you

…in other words, you cannot solve the problem or refuse to solve it?

@triptikon No, that is not what we are saying.

We attempted to replicate the issue that you described in the SEO Title setting using guillemets and were not able to. We inserted the same title you specified in the SEO Title (see image here) and then on the published page reviewed the source code (see image here). As you can see the guillemets were not converted to another type of quotes.

If you are experiencing that as an issue, it is likely the result of another plugin or theme causing the conversion. Can you please check whether the issue occurs with only a default theme such as TwentyTwentyOne and only the Yoast SEO plugin active?

if you leave the version with a different plugin, how would you solve this problem with the help of the code?

@triptikon We’re sorry but we aren’t entirely sure what you are asking. Can you please clarify your question?

I ask how to solve this problem by adding the appropriate code to functions.php file?

Just to confirm, have you performed the conflict check as instructed before?

Maybe it’s a conflict with Ultimate member plugin, but it’s support doesn’t know how to help

@triptikon Unfortunately we can’t offer support on custom code. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. Maybe someone watching these forums can assist you further, but if your topic is inactive for 7 days, we’ll mark it as resolved to keep the overview.

    Thank you for your understanding.

this is not the case because of which the site can be broken

    (@devnihil)

@triptikon If you believe the plugin is not functioning as expected due to a conflict with the Ultimate member plugin, we would next recommend performing a conflict check.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
