How to Change Public Username

  • I don’t know how to change public username – i don’t want users of the website to see my username and also want to hide author page – please help me with this issue

  • Did you check all SETTINGS of your Theme (Dashboard > Settings). Maybe there is a possibility to disable the setting you want.

    Otherwise, a rough method is to add this code to Dashboard > Appearence > Customize > Additional CSS (or ‘Custom CSS’):
    .entry-author {font-size:0;}

    Or you can make a new user (manager) with a nickname and continue as this user.

    You can change your Display Name in the Profile section of your WordPress site.

    Dashboard > Users >Your Profile
