How to change product page view for logged in users

Hi,

I have client requirements to hide the prices for not logged in users. For these users the product page is fairly standard. However for logged in users, in addition to displaying the prices, there is a requirement to replace the standard short description with two tabs of details.

My question is how can that be accomplished? Is it possible to have two product page templates that are controlled by logged in status?

Is there a different approach?
