How to change post format?

    Dear all, it seems that I cannot change the format of my posts individually. There is no choice of changing the post format on the drop menu “status & visibility” ln the right side when editing a post. I would like to create some audio posts and embed soundcloud links to show up in my homepage instead of the featured image. Any help/advice would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance!

    Apologies for the inconvenience but this is outside the scope of functionality provided by the WordPress themes.

    You can achieve this with some third-party plugins which meet your requirements.
