    Are you trying to remove the default ‘docs’ slug and make it straight site.com/your-wedocs-link like the default WP post URL/permalink site.com/hello-world?

    This filter will help you to change the default ‘docs’ slug but you can’t completely remove the slug.

    Note: make sure you have flushed site permalink after applying the filter; otherwise, it will return 404 on the frontend.
