How to change Menu Color & Hover

Are you using a child theme of Twenty Ten?

I guess its a child theme of twenty ten. Is there any way to make sure?

If the theme you are using is Twenty Ten, then you’re probably not using a child theme. In order to make the changes you want you will have to alter the CSS and the safe way to do that is with a Child Theme.

The WordPress Codex has an article on Child Themes you can follow. Let me know if you have set that up and then we can tackle the exact CSS you need to add to your style sheet to get the colors you want.

Do I really need to use a child when I all want to change is the menu color & color when hovering over?
