  • Have you defined a language in the WordPress config file? What language are you trying to change it too? Virtue has only been translated to a few languages yet.

I don’t see where config language in my WP dashboard. I need spanish and english both at the store.

It’s not in the dashboard, it’s the config.php file.

If you need to be able to switch between english and spanish on the front and backend then you need a plugin, like wpml.

There are tons of tutorials about making a multilingual site if you just do a google search.

I’m just trying to change language, and I’m reading instructions in WP in spanish, but in config.php file in my wp I can`t find the line WPLANG to copy the new language. So I don’t understand.

You can just add this line.

Hey kadence, thanks for this gorgeous theme.
I need some support whith language too, my wp was already in pt_BR, and theme too, but there was one iten still in english, right on the top bar, aside the menu: “your cart: R$ 30,00”.
And others things like: “Posted by” – “Back to posters”…
    how can i translate this?

i already changed the tex on the lib/custom-woocommerce and on the templates/header but they dont has effect

Hey so to translate text in the theme you can use the the po file in the virtue/languages folder. There is a file called: pt_BR.po and if you edit that in poedit you can translate the whole theme.

If you just went into the theme files and changed text for “your cart” then after you change the text try adding something to cart, that usually clears the cache.

Hello, its not working, Ive tried to switch language into polish but with no effort, firstly Ive changed default file in theme/languages, after that Ive changed pt_BR file, and then on top of that Ive added a new folder wp-content/languages where I placed en_PL translation and added some script into wp-config.php file accordint to the tutorial provided by WP. All that stuff failed in action and there is still english language on.

    Hello piter90

Are you trying to translate the theme or wordpress.

a polish mo file should be pl_PL.mo

and if you are trying to translate the theme it should be in the theme folder.
