How to change height of header image?

https://docs.themeisle.com/article/810-how-to-make-hestia-theme-header-full-height – this is showing increasing height for Homepage. It is not doing the exact what you need but you can change the height value if that helps.

We do not have the exact change but this may help.

I am sorry I am not getting your question here. The above-given links are used for header height. I am not sure which one you are trying.

Note that the codes will not work exactly with copy-paste. You’ll need to change the pixel values.

These articles are just for helping guidelines.

have the same problem!
Need to reduce the header size in the homepage.
the link you posted is fine only in order to increase the header size, if i write a pixel value of 90vh or less the size doesn’t change, like if the standard size of hestia’s homepage header image was already the smallest possible.

Any chance you would know how to change the header logo on a Hestia theme? I cannot get it to be any bigger and it is tiny!

@vishakha, i have seen that this theme is responsive, and is following material design principles, but there are issue with the header image. I want the full header image to appear on the frontend, if i apply “contain” css property to header-filter, i am able to achieve that, but it leaves me with white bar on top and bottom of header.

If i use header as it is, the image gets cropped, and if i use the css property the image is displayed but bringing white bars around. This is a serious problem on mobile phones, as on some screens not even 30% of the total image gets visible.

Is there any way to display the full image without causing white bars above and below.

My site is https://milyin.com/ and at present i am NOT using that property, because it gives bad impression. In hope of help. Thanks in advance.

Hello All. Apologies if I’m posting in the wrong place, a WP newbie. I’d like to make the bar above my header a little narrower. The theme I’m using was prepared for me by a consultant: I’m not even really sure what WP theme it is (sorree).

Could someone have a look at my site, https://www.PsychEducation.org and tell me how to narrow the blue banner that sites above my rainbow header? I presume the blue part is an integral element of the theme I’m using? Can I customize that or do I need to look at switching to a different theme (a frightening prospect).
