How to change emoticons

  • I did a search, and I can find the directory the emoticons are located in, but I can’t seem to find the file that calls for them so I can change them / add more. Help?

  • the directory is located at \wp-images\smilies\
    probably /wp-images/smilies/ in unix machines
    you can just do a replacement there

    oh, if you want to customize the smilies, it’s \wp-includes\vars.php or /wp-includes/vars.php
    do a such on “smilies”, you’re see them, it’s easy to figure

    yeah, I knew where the direcotry was, just couldn’t find the actual code to customise – thanks ??
