Hi @alexgraphicd what kind of changes do you want to do, the block settings allow you to change the Typography, Color, and Dimensions. What were you hoping to achieve?

You can read more about the Quote block on this article.

thank you for the link but what I’m looking for is to change the style of all quotes on my website. The link you sent shows how to change the style individually but I have dozens of quotes on multiple articles and I don’t know how to change the style to reflect the change on all of them.

Hi @alexgraphicd it depends on the changes you want to make, are you able to give me more information about that?

You might be able to use CSS code, the code can be added to add-your-url/wp-admin/customize.php on the Additional CSS section area. Or you might need to look for a plugin.

for example the default quote style of Twenty Twenty Three theme that I’m using is kinda plain and I want to change the color of the text in the quote, background, make text bigger etc., just change the styling from default to a more custom and reflect changes on all quotes located across the website. I thought something like this would be possible without much hassle or having to write custom code. Just like the FSE block themes allow you to change colors and text formatting via the Styles globally, I don’t understand why there isn’t an option to change the style of quotes block globally too.

Hi @alexgraphicd – you can indeed modify the look of blocks site-wide, including the Quote block.

Head to Appearance > Editor and click the Styles icon at the top right:

Next, under “Customize the appearance of specific blocks for the whole site.” – click Blocks:

Finally, scroll down or search for the Quote block.

From there you’ll be able to modify the colours and typography as you like.

Let me know how it goes.

Ahh, yes! That’s what I was looking for! Can’t believe I missed it, I didn’t see it on the bottom before. Thank you so much. This theme is so awesome. I have dropped unnecessary page builders cause I love the simplicity and ease of this theme.
