How to change date format

    The sstart and end dat of the event is displaying as 2004/07016 which is not my WP date format setting which displays as 16 July 2004. How do I change the date format in WP Event Manager to be the same as my WP settings?

    We’d like to inform you that you need to override the below mentioned files if you wish to change the date format.
    \wp-content\plugins\wp-event-manager\templates\content-event_listing.php
    \wp-content\plugins\wp-event-manager\templates\content-past_event_listing.php
    \wp-content\plugins\wp-event-manager\templates\content-single-event_listing.php
    \wp-content\plugins\wp-event-manager\templates\content-summary-event_listing.php
    \wp-content\plugins\wp-event-manager\templates\content-widget-event_listing.php
