How to change Current Color (Active color) of a button linked to a page

  • I am using Generatepress theme. i created a element name bottom menu and make it sticky by applying CSS. I added 3 buttons to it and linked them to pages. Now, in generatepress i can change initial color and hover color of buttons. i want to change their active color / current color i.e., when i clicked on a button its show a different color when clicked means when it active ( its active color).

    i tried all different ways to fix this but unable to do that.

    Kindly solve my issue.
