I’m in the process of switching from http to https for my sites.

My question is .. for the old http site which has 400 comments, my author name link remains as the http version.

Without manually changing every comment for my author name to the https version, is there a plugin or change in phpmyadmin that would make this job quicker?

    Thank you,
    Andy.

When you properly change your site to https, the links will take care of themselves.

Use the plugin “better search replace”. Search for https://example.com and replace with https://example.com and your site will work as an all-https site.

Thanks for the help Steve .. but I mean all my own author comment replies to my visitors comments.

These all remain at the old site ‘http’ version of my site, pointing to my homepage, or rather the http version of my homepage.

Any new comments, and my name in the author comment is automatically https, but how do I change the other 400-ish comments which show my author name link at http version? Hope that makes sense!!

Those links are in the database, so the search and replace will change them.

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.
