    Hello,

I have 3 URLs in my sitemap that are 301 redirects. The final URLs are in my sitemaps and I want to delete the old ones.

    How can I do that?

    Many thanks!

    Regards,

    Asen

@asen85 We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

It’s not the expected behavior of the plugin to include URLs that are redirected in the sitemap.

However, if the page URL of what is being redirected is still active or set to be indexed that may be causing this. Can you first check to ensure that the URL in question is not set to be included in search results/set to index? We have a guide on how to noindex a URL (and thus remove from the sitemap) located here: https://yoast.com/help/how-do-i-noindex-urls/

    Hello,

There is no other page. It’s only 1 page, but with a changed/redirected URL.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help.

    Regards,

    Asen
