Hello,

Please note that an active class is added to the menu items if their URL is the current page. Since the menu links have the homepage URL + hash(#ID), they’re marked active while you’re on the homepage. We do not have a built-in option to remove the active states for this. You’ll have to add a custom script like this so they will not be marked as active on the homepage unless clicked.

You can add the script in Customizer – https://kadence-theme.com/knowledge-base/pro-addon/how-to-add-scripts-in-header-footer/ if you have the pro addon. Otherwise, use a child theme or third-party plugin to add the script on the footer.
