How to centre a slider in the header

Hi, I want to add a slider into the header which stays between the logo and the items on the right side of the header (I have google translate widget on the right side of the header). However, when I paste the php code after to logo part on the header.php file, the slider stays under the logo even though it is small enough to fit between the logo and the translation widget. Therefore it looks really weird.
How to fix this: put the slider stay between the logo and the translation widget.
