How to center some text?

  • When composing a post in the admin interface, I see no way to center a line of body text. Am I missing something here?

  • If you use the Visual tab, there is an ‘Align Center’ button that is not there in the HTML mode, but beware, lots of people have reported problems in switching back and forth between Visual and HTML.

    That’s it. The interface is not displaying those tabs. What happened?

    Go to Admin->Users->Your Profile and make sure the checkbox for ‘Disable the visual editor when writing’ is cleared.

    Interesting. The box was unchecked, yet the editor was displaying as if the box was checked. I fixed it by checking it, updating the profile, then unchecking it and updating profile again. Then, the Visual and HTML tabs appeared! Weird.
