    Hi!

I added an image in my menu item image (Appearance- Menus- Menu structure-Page dropdown- Menu item image)

But on my site it is not centered in my left menu/navigation bar. It is butted up to the right hand side of the bar.

What do I do to center it?

  • Did you use a plugin to add the menu image? Because Menu Item Image is not one of the default fields that is available under WordPress or the theme, as far as I can tell.

You should be able to center the image with some CSS. If you can’t provide the link to your site, then let me know what plugin you’re using and I’ll install it on my test site.

Yes, I used Nav Menu Images.

But I realized when you asked me if it was a widget that maybe that was the problem, and sure enough it was. I got rid of Nav Menu Images and installed Menu Image instead. This gave me the option of using the original size of the image, which I made tiny, this enabled me to add the image under the button and it fits nicely in the menu bar… Plus it didn’t get rid of the text like Nav Menu Images did, which was not working.

Thanks so much for you willingness to help!

You put me on the right track!
