How to call my plugin?

  • I am having a go at creating my first wordpress plugin.

    I have created the basic file and put it in my wordpress/plugins dir.

    WP see’s it fine and I can activate it, but then it instantly puts the content of the file above the header on each page.

    How can I get it to only run on a selected page?
