How to bypass Author page

Hello,

My blog is a single author so there’s no point to send user to the Author page and give them a list of content when the author title is clicked.

When the user clicks on Author name, I would like to go to a custom page I’ve created, not the yoursite/author/username, which is WordPress’s default action.

Is there way to do this sitewide?

(I am using a Author box plugin too – so wondering if possible to do this bypass in a way that covers the plugin’s action too.)
