How to bypass 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable

  • You could add the sites to the exception list. This will prevent the plugin from checking those links and reporting them as broken. To do that, go to Settings -> Link Checker -> Which Links To Check and enter the domain name(s) in the “Exclusion list” box – one domain name per line.

    Note that depending on your configuration, it might take several hours for the links to disappear from the “Broken links” list.

    Thank you, Janis. I did not think that I could actually enter a url there; I though that option was for specific words. I entered it and forced a recheck of all links. Hopefully, this will work!

    You can enter both URLs and keywords. Basically, the plugin just skips checking links that contain the specified text.
