• Hi.

I have a website with lots of pages I don’t wish to appear on the main menu. I still want the pages to be visible if searched for however.

For now I have bulk marked the pages as private, but obviously nobody will be able to see them. There are over 100 pages so I don’t wish to go into each one individually and tick the hide from menu box.

So is there a way to bulk update them, like there is for making multiple pages private? I’ve been unable to find a way to do this so far.

    Thank you.

  • Go to the menu management under Appeareance > Menu. There you can define what comes in the menu and what not. There you can also select multiple menu items and remove them together.

If you are doing it in an FSE theme like Twenty-Twenty-Two. You will not have a menu option on the dashboard. You will need to go into the new theme editor and go to the template or template part where the menu is defined. Find the Navigation block and you can edit the menu there. WordPress disables the menu, customizer, and widget options in the New FSE themes.
