How to buld new site ?

    Hi
    Quite new to WP I need a little help and some ideas on how to set up my new site:
    I would like to have on 1 page or at least organized as a logical readable thread
    COUNTRY1 :
    Main story with poll ( interesting, not interesting ):
    readers can post comments
    This main story has related detailed stories wich explains in details the main story
    + poll ( good idea, bad idea ?) + readers can post comments
    This schema should repeat 3 times on site for COUNTRY 1 , COUNTRY 2 COUNTRY 3
    Is WP the right soft to use ?
    If yes how would you organize this site ?
    Any help would be very much appreciated
