How to build your own plug-in

    I’m wondering how I can build my own plug-in (prefer object-orientated). I’ve found the WordPress plug-in boilerplate, but this is one step to far for me. I don’t know how and where to start building my plug-in without examples or a tutorial of this boilerplate.

    So my question, does anyone know a good tutorial of building a WordPress plug-in object-orientated way (I’ve got experience building object-orientated PHP code)? Where to start?
