    Hello,

I am using Pinpoint Booking System and have integrated Woo Commerce. I use Woo Commerce to create the products (and previously, used it as a payment method)

Is there any way that a customer can book a day without paying?

Currently, I’ve disabled and removed the “Add to Cart” button for Woo Commerce (using a hook) because I don’t want the customer to pay immediately after selecting a day on the booking calendar.

Is there a way that the customer can select a day on the calendar and book that day WITHOUT having to pay immediately? I just want them to be able to book that day without paying for it yet.

The reason I want this is because the customer will pay for that reservation on the day of the event.

If I just disable Woo Commerce (i.e. no longer have it integrated with Pinpoint), will the client be able to click a day on the Pinpoint calendar and then “book” that day without having to enter any type of credit card info? That is, they click on the day, and then they are taken to a page where they can enter their info to reserve that day WITHOUT having to enter any credit card info. Is that possible through Pinpoint?

    Hello,

From looking at the documentation here, it appears that the calendar sidebar widgets are what I want. Specifically, the Reservation details and Client form sections.

How do I enable that? At the moment, I only have the calendar displaying. Those widgets are not displaying for some reason.

I’m assuming that if the user clicks on that “book now” button, their reservation will be made, but they will not be asked to enter any credit card info, right?

If yes, than that is exactly what I would like to do.
Can someone please help me with that?

    Hello,

With Pinpoint Booking System you have the option “pay on arrival” which can be enabled/disabled from calendar >edit calendar payment gateways (by default it’s enabled).

With that option enabled, your customers will only have to select a day/hour fill the contact form with their name, phone, email or any field you add and they can book without paying online.
If you have issues when that calendar is displayed, please contact us on [email protected] and our support team will help you.

    Thank you!

    Hi Dot,

The option to select “Pay on Arrival” has already been selected previously, but I was still being asked to enter credit card info.

I believe this is because I have WooCommerce integrated with Pinpoint. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that integration overrides the “Pay on Arrival” option that Pinpoint provides. Perhaps Pay on Arrival only works if I’m NOT using WooCommerce?

Anyway, the plugin support for WooCommerce said to select the “Cash On Delivery” option as my payment method, and that was exactly what I wanted. I’m satisfied with the “Cash On Delivery” option as the customers can now select a day on the Pinpoint Calendar and book that day by only entering their contact info (i.e. name, number, email). They are not being asked to enter credit card info.

    So, problem solved ??

    Hello,

Indeed, ‘pay on arrival’ option is only available when using Pinpoint without WooCommerce, otherwise you’ll need to use WooCommerce payment methods (as you already said).
However, we’re glad that you managed to find a solution.

    Thank you!
