    Hello,

    Is there any way that a customer can book a day without paying?

    Currently, I’ve disabled and removed the “Add to Cart” button (using a hook) because I don’t want the customer to pay immediately after selecting a day on the booking calendar.

    Is there a way that the customer can select a day on the calendar and book that day WITHOUT having to pay immediately? I just want them to be able to book that day without paying for it yet.

    The reason I want this is because the customer will pay for that reservation on the day of the event.

    I’m sorry. I forgot to mention that I’m using Pinpoint Booking System to create the calendar, and I’ve integrated WooCommerce to Pinpoint to create the products and also I’m using WooCommerce Elavon as my payment gateway.

    Sorry. I just realized that this might be more of a question for the pinpoint booking system forum and so I have directed my question there. (I will update this post if it is still up and if I arrive at a solution)

    That’s true, Pinpoint Booking System might be a better point of contact here.

    Generally, if you want to allow your users to book your products without paying online, you can enable Cash on Delivery payment method on your site in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments. That would reserve a product, but not collect any payments yet.

    Hi Elvira,

    Thank you so much for the quick response. Cash on Delivery was exactly what I wanted. Thank you! I looked all over and couldn’t believe I didn’t see that. Now, the customer can make a reservation for a day without having to enter any credit card info.

    Regarding the response from Pinpoint, the plugin author responded here. The suggestion was to use “pay on arrival”. You can see my response below their’s.
