How to bold navigation vertical pixel lines?

    Hi, recently the support team gave me this code so I could bold the navigation pixel lines: 

    #navigation {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #EFEFEF;
    border-top: 1px solid #EFEFEF;
    margin: 15px 0 0 10px;
}

    I changed the 1px solid colors to black. However, if you look at my website https://howtofocusbetter.com, it only does it for the horizontal lines.

    Do you know how I can bold the vertical lines in between?
