How to block WP Statistics until consent?

    Can you explain How I should configure it in the script center to block WP Statistics plugin (By VeronaLabs) until consent? I tried reading the article related to blocking scripts in the script center but couldn’t get a clear idea about the exact steps. Can you explain in detail about the script code I should include in the console and the placeholder ID if any I need to use?

    This works for me;

    You can use: WP_Statistics_http

    If you search for it in your page source you will find the request from WP Statistics, after blocking it you will find our attributes.

    @aahulsebos Tried the above. But even without consent I see the dashboard showing the visits. Tried multiple times clearing all history items/cookies/cache everything and with different browser. No go. Even denied all cookies and still no change.
    In the page source I saw WP_Statistics and not WP_Statistics_http; So tried both and still no go

    Could you post your URL, maybe there are different options in tracking. I had the default set-up.

    Hi @leofficial,

    Please navigate to WP Statistics > Settings > Cache Compatibility and set it to “Enable”.

    After which the previously described method, blocking either “WP_Statistics” or “WP_Statistics_http” in the Script Center, will work as expected.
