How to block crawler

hi guys,

I’m new here i hope i can get the help from you experts in WP, I’m having trouble of understanding here’s the issue https://www.testsite.com is the testing page and https://www.siterunning.com is the actual site we are using i have new template installed in testsite.com and we are going to try several test. my question is if we are going to copy some the images or the article from the main site does google crawler duplicate both content on the site? and if i set.up it as private does it still duplicate the content? i need some help perhaps a short explanation.. thnxxx
