How to best filter the recipes

Hi, wer are creating a recipe blog and using your plugin. we want to create filters on the recipe archive page so visitors can filter by (for example) cooking time, etc.
What is the best way to do this with your plugin? Do we need to use a filter plugin like facetwp? Is this even compatible? Or is there another option/plugin? thank you
