How to best create an editable site?

    I’ve made a few WP sites in the past but I usually just edit pages in the HTML area of the WYSIWYG editor

    Is there a better way to do this for people who don’t know HTML? If I have more than just text on a page, how can the user edit it? For example, if I have three columns of content, or three small boxes of text? How do most people do this?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks
