    Hello,

As of today, I am creating my own product page with WordPress only (I am talking about the design aspects of them). I have been said to use WooCommerce. Then I discovered that Stripe Payment also offers its own product pages.

I am a bit confused to see what is the best solution and how I should use StripePayments with respect to designing my product pages.

For example, it it flexible enough for a non-developer like me to remove the PRICE from the page (I want to reveal it only after the visitors click the button and reach a squeeze page), or to adjust/customize the design of the page: Size and location of the product image/thumbnail, colors, etc.

In short: How do WooCommerce and Stripe Payments position with respect to each other? What is the leanest way to sell products? I am trying to avoid creating a labyrinth type of process and funnel. Why should I use WooCommerce on top of Stripe Payments? What missing features owuld it compensate?

Or am I just missing something here? But I have a feeling Stripe Payments could be enough to manage selling DIGITAL products and online, recurring subscriptions.

    Thank

Hi, thank you for contacting us.

I have read through your whole comment and questions above. In my opinion, you should first workout what exactly are you wanting to do online? For example: Are you going to sell products, services or a combination of both? Once you workout what you are going to sell online, then find out which shopping cart or eCommere plugin best works for you.

I would run a small test by installing a few plugins first. This will give you an idea of what each plugin is capable of. Then once you have done some trial an error testing, then decide on one.

The following documentation creating-an-online-store-using-the-stripe-payment-gateway-for-free shows you how to add a product using our plugin.

There are thousands of tutorials, documentation and reviews online about all major plugins, services and gateways for you to read. Take your time and don’t rush into it.

The following documentation how-to-attract-customers-to-your-wordpress-e-commerce-store can help you further.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Kind regards

Please note that this is an independent plugin that doesn’t need any other plugin to work. Watch the video tutorials from the following page that shows you how the process works:

I personally prefer to use a lean process to sell items myself. This Stripe plugin will be leaner in my opinion.

Try them both since they are free then see which one you like based on your requirements.

Thanks for this. But what are the criteria on which your claim is based? I will help me gain much to know that (strengths and weakness, differentiators). Thanks again.

Are you talking about Stripe Payments AND WooCommerce?

The are not 100% free since you need to pay to have access to some “quite” critical features. For example, the Secure Downloads and Autoresponder add-ons/features are kind of essentiel and you have to pay for them.

I really don’t want to claim anything. WooCommerce is generally a very good plugin. It has a lot of features. Please try the plugins yourself and use which ever one you feel like. You should ask this question to a neutral party maybe. This particular forum is really for support related questions for this plugin.
