    Hi,

UpdraftPlus backups are saved under each sub-directory. The backups are by default stored in the “wp-content/updraft” folder of the WP install.

To restore a website, just simply follow this guide – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/restore-site-updraftplus. The sub-directories won’t be affected.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi,
I am afraid I do not understand your reply.

Do I do backup as follows?

Note that I had previously created a SUBdirectory “treat-insomnia” with another WordPress separately installed on it. Does the above step ALSO backup the SUBdirectory?
MUST I do the following ADDITIONAL step to backup the SUBdirectory “treat-insomnia”?

      Login to SUBdirectory /treat-insomnia/wp-admin/
Then click “BackUp” as shown in the following screenshot.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Yes, you will have to log in to each site and run a backup for each site as well.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
