How to back up to a external location, ftp, dropbox or desktop.

  • Hi, I have just taken on a project help an on-line magazine rebrand their site. I found out they don’t have a back up of the site and would really like to do that for them asap (obviously xcloner is the preferred choice).

    My problem is that the whole Magazine is just over 3gb in space and there is only 2gb on their hosting server. Thus my question would be, is there any way that xcloner can back up to an external location which is separate from the site?

  • XCloner can transfer the backup to an external service like ftp or amazon s3, but it will still need the actual disk space to create the backup archive in the first place….
