How to Back-up straight to external HDD

    HI there.
    I am looking for a way to back-up straight to external HDD.
    I am currently using Updraft, but this backs-up to googledrive, my issue is that i have several site i need to constantly back-up and googledrive soon runs out of space.
    Is there a way i can just back up sites straight to Ext.HDD?

    Hi,

    If you have a NAS device that can support FTP or WebDAV, then yes, you can back up to that using UpdraftPlus.

    No I dont I just have an external Hard Drive.

    Hi,

    I’m afraid it is not possible to send backups directly to your external hard drive. What you can do is to download the backup files to your computer and manually transfer them to your hard drive. Alternatively, use cloud storage like Dropbox and sync it to your PC.
