How to avoid conflicts as plugin developer?

Hello,
Today I noticed that updating a membership level in Restrict Content Pro (RCP) won’t purge the cache automatically. See this other ticket with the same issue.
1. What is the API a plugin has to comply to, such that the SiteGround cache won’t get in the way?
2. I guess the problem with RCP are the custom tables. Is there a better way then to just purge the whole cache on every write from RCP?Thank you,
