How to automatically show custom fields in Add New Post?

  • I am experimenting with custom fields, and for all of my posts, I will have the same custom fields each time. Instead of having to add the custom field each time, is there a way for the WordPress “Add New Post” to automatically have the custom field there so all I have to do is type in a value?

    For example, I have a thumbnail field and I will be using it every post. Is there a way to have the thumbnail field and corresponding value input box show up on each new post page.
