How to automatically convert all HTML entities for new posts.

  • Hello,

    I’m running a partly automated blog and I’m using many sources of posts.

    The problem is that in some cases HTML entities like &#34, &, "… are not automatically converted.

    To you any idea for a php snippet that allows an automatic conversion of all HTML entities for all HTML versions (4.0, 5.0…).

  • I think your problem is not that the entities are not converted, it’s that they are already converted and being converted again by the theme which is doing things correctly.

    May be it’s the case. But the most important thing is to find a solution.

    Currently I’m using this this plugin (Text Replace) to convert all HTML entities. But I think it’s not a professional way and I’m wondering if there is any ready php code that do the job before the post is published.
