Somehow I must be missing a very basic step. I’m using ARForms Lite and trying to set up the email notifications for a simple form. I want the form submissions to come to my email address and can’t figure out where/how to configure this.

In the “Email Notifications” area of my form, it looks like these settings are for the form user, not for me, the admin. I’ve seen the documentation for Email Notification and Email Configuration. Both of these mention “Global Settings” while the backend instead says “General Settings” not Global Settings so I’m wondering if the docs in question may be slightly outdated?

Anyway, I feel like this is one of the most basic facets of setting up forms and I can’t seem to find it with ARForms Lite for some reason. Any guidance would be helpful.

(For what it’s worth I currently have the General Settings > Email Settings set to “WordPress Server” but I don’t think this would affect the ability to set up the email that the form is sent to.)

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Regarding email notification, on the documentation ‘https://www.arformsplugin.com/documentation/email-notification/’ page, you’ll see the form level configuration.

From where, you can enable the email notification for each forms. You’ll find an option ‘Send an automatic response to admin user after form submission’, when you open the email notification option from the top menu bar in the form editor. You’ll see an textbox titled with ‘Admin E-mail’, that’s the textbox where you can defined an email address for the administrator that will receive the email notification when a form get submitted.

    Thanks

Thanks so much for the response! Imagine my embarassment… in my exhausted state of mind, when I was trying to solve this, I didn’t realize that the ‘Email Notifications’ panel was scrollable and the settings I needed were just beneath what I was looking at. Such a silly mistake. ??

Thank you for your guidance. I’ll play with these settings now and report back if I have issues. But this is what I was looking for.

    Cheers!
