• I found a couple of threads here that mention the issue, but didn’t find a solution – at least not one that I can understand/implement.

My very first WP site is under development on an Xampp localhost PC. I’m THRILLED to have found your Feather plugin. It’s amazing. The only problem I have is this:

The front/home/index page of my site is a typical blog page that displays the four latest posts, with a right sidebar. I don’t want Share links on every page, but I definitely want them on the front page. But there seems to be no actual front page – so no place to add the nifty short code (as I’ve done on other pages, TOO GOOD!).

Being new to WP I can’t figure out how to assign the same Share buttons to my “amorphous” front/index page.

    Thanks for any help.

  • It really depends on how the theme manages that – probably the easiest way would be to use a widget. Under Appearance -> Widgets you have Social Media Feather widgets.
