How to assign custom shipping price?(Without assigning shipping class)

    Hi! My client wants to set custom shipping price to products.

    He is okay with shipping class too but since the price in shipping class are not shown in ascending/descending order, Like $1, $2, $5, $10, $20 and $50 but instead it shows by the first number like $1, $10, $2, $20, $5 and $50. When there are a lot of shipping classes, this kind of order makes it hard for my client so he want’s to set a custom value straight from the get go.

    This makes him confused to set shipping based on shipping class.

    So, I have 2 options. Either make the shipping class appear based on ascending order or have shipping a function to set a custom shipping price when adding the product to WooCommerce.

    Or maybe there is a plugin that can help with this? Preferably a free one.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for sharing that screenshot although I’d like to get a better understanding of the use-case here first. From what I can see at the moment, shipping classes are used on this store in a way that it wasn’t intended to be used. Usually, shipping classes are used to group products together based on similar attributes (for example: “Small / Medium / Large” [grouping products by size]; Or “Freight / Express” [grouping products by shipping speed eligibility].

    From the screenshot, it sounds like you’re looking for per-product shipping instead. If that’s indeed the case, I’d recommend taking a closer look at this guide.
