Tutor LMS is a good tool for having free online courses. Currently, Tutor LMS doesn’t have the feature to approve or disapprove the enrollment of students in free courses.

Many tutors and schools would like to be able to offer free content to specific users through an approval request and restrict access to this content to unapproved students or people who could make bad use of or infringe copyright policies.

Tutor LMS can you please add this option?

  • Hello @matmorawp,

Thank you for your appreciation. Manual enrollment of students and course preview are pro plugin features and not included with the free version of the plugin. You can read about these features from our documentation.

    Hello @munayam,

    Thanks for your reply.

I understand course preview and manual enrollment are paid features. Can you please at least include a “free course approval request” from the tutor/school in the free version of “Tutor LMS”?

I understand tutor LMS is a business and wants to make a profit. Course preview, manual enrollment and all paid courses can be still only included in your paid version.

This will allow Tutor LMS to make money with paid courses and will allow tutors/schools with free courses to only reach authorized students and protect their lessons’ copyright.

    Kind regards,

    Hello @matmorawp,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’ll share them with my team. For now free version includes all the core features. You can visit this page to learn about the differences between free and pro plugin features.
