How to apply Post Page layout on different pages
-
First, let me thank you for reading this and for your help.
In Settings -Reading option -Front Page Displays, I’ve chosen second option -A static Page with following: Front Page is set to Home, and Posts Page is set to Lists. The reason is because, when clicking on Home (in the menu) I want the address to appear as example.com, not example.com/home. This settings seems to do the trick. However…
I need my Home, Lists and other pages I have to be displaying posts (where Home display all posts -which can then be also found on their corresponding pages -I use Posts to Pages plugin for this).
The Lists page now displays a layout that I would like to have also on Home, and other pages. I’m guessing that Lists is using home.php file (as I understood that Posts Page uses home.php).
When I go to Pages, to edit them, for Lists I don’t have options under Template category, as for Home I have Default Template,Full Width, and Home Page. I’m not sure what template Lists uses so it displays layout I would like to have on Home and other pages -or if that is even connected. I’m using a Tribute theme, and have its Child Theme installed (with plugin).
I’m new to WP and all this, so please have patience with me on this one :). My site is not live jet, so if I can send some screenshots to explain better, just let me know.
