    Hi,

here in Spain , the VAT has 2 type

one is standard for all entity which is 21%

there is another sub-type tax for certain freelancer individual , which is 5.2%

so basically , for the same product:

if a company purchase from me , they pay 21% , where I created a tax class called VAT

if freelancer purchase from me , they need to pay 21% + 5.2% (26.2%) , where I created a tax class called AUTO

I have been trying to play around the tax class , either compound or dedicated tax class , but it seems if I set the VAT 21% , then even when I edit order to apply AUTO , it still stick on 21% ,instead of giving me 26.2%

what am I doing wrong here …?

    Hello @qtwrk,

As I understand, there are cases where customers need to pay only one of the taxes, or both.

With WooCommerce’s default settings, the tax is calculated based on the customer’s billing, shipping, or store address. There is no conditional logic to selectively apply which tax should be applied.

One way to solve this is by using the Role Based Pricing for WooCommerce extension to set prices according to the customer’s role.

As for assigning the role, you can do it manually or upon registration with the Choose User Role at Registration extension

All extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy and come with premium email support. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund. :?)

Let us know if you have any other questions.
