• Hello,

I use a theme which displays one little arrow to menus which have children items.

I have a problem with a category top menu for which I have used your plugin. The posts in this category are perfectly created as children menu items.

But the category menu is displayed without arrow, like other menu items without children items.
In the code the class ‘menu-item-has-children’ is not attached to the menu item.

If I apply the css class ‘menu-item-has-children’ to the category top menu item by activating css classes in the menu screen options, the display is now correct for the category menu, but the children menus have now a little arrow.

Is there any way to apply the css class only to the top menu item ?

Thanks in advance for your help
    Laurent

  • Hi Laurent,

    thank you for your message.
I’m afraid I cannot reproduce the problem; on my test site the parent, and the parent *only* has the menu-item-has-children CSS class.

Can you describe how to reproduce this problem using posts and categories?

    Kind regards,
    Diana
