How to allow Membership on Instructor?

With custom coding it could be done.

However, by default all users who register through either memberships or courses are automatically set to student.

If you are or have a developer on your team that is confident in making changes we can point you to the files you would need to modify!

You can use the hooks found here: https://github.com/gocodebox/lifterlms/blob/4.2.0/includes/models/model.llms.student.php#L98

For example:
https://github.com/gocodebox/lifterlms/blob/4.2.0/includes/models/model.llms.student.php#L186 that hook is fired when someone is enrolled in a membership so these will be where you want to add the role assignment.
