I work for a chamber of commerce and we use the simple membership plugin as a free benefit to our members. We don’t ask them to pay an additional cost to use our membership portal. That said, is there a way; like an add-on or setting that I can turn on that whenever someone tries to register or log in, that the plugin checks to see if they are a member of our chamber? And if not, flags them that they can not log in or register unless they become a paid member of our chamber? What I don’t want is someone trying to get in to our portal if they are not currently chamber members.

Thank you for the quick response, that’s kinda of what I’ve been doing however, if I’m away and someone needs to access the portal right away, they won’t be able to if they have to wait for me to approve them. Can the simple membership plugin can integrate with Salesforce? Our membership data is in SF.

Unfortunately we don’t have an integration addon for Salesforce. Is your data added into a CSV file format? If it is in a CSV file format, then check out the following instructions.

The other method would be to import your Salesforce members into WordPress as users. Then import them into SMP using the following instructions.

Okay, thank you, I’ll look at those instructions. Either way, it seems I will need to manually qualify users who want access to our portal.
