how to adjust my featured image

Hello everyone,

I want to adjust the positioning of my featured image on my frontpage. If you look to the top of my featured image, you can see there is empty white space. I want to get rid of this and instead have the featured image fit into this. Thus, the top of the featured image should border the green border of the navigation bar.
